Karl has said in the video interview below that the role is looking good for him. "Yeah, that's correct, that's a big rumor going on," he said. "I can't say too much at this point but it's lookin' good."

Congratulations to Karl who won Best Male Performance in a 2009 Science Fiction Film, TV Movie, or Mini-Series at Canada’s Constellation Awards, for his role as McCoy in Star Trek. The film had five nominations in four categories, more than any other film at the Constellation Awards. As well as Karl's win, Star Trek won in two other categories: Best Science Fiction Film, TV Movie, or Mini-Series of 2009 and a win for Bruce Greenwood for Outstanding Canadian Contribution to Science Fiction Film or Television in 2009.

The release date for Priest has been bumped back...again. Originally scheduled for release in August 2010, it was then changed to January, 2011, then changed again to March 2011 for conversion to 3D. It has now been pushed back another two months to May 2011.

Jeff Blake, Chairman of Sony Pictures Worldwide Marketing & Distribution, announced yesterday that Priest will be released in 3D in theaters nationwide on January 14, 2011. Commenting on the announcement, Clint Culpepper, President of Screen Gems said, "We're thrilled with the way 'Priest' has come together, and we saw some spectacular sequences in the film that we all believed would be even more amazing in 3D. Scott (director), as well as the producers, couldn't be more excited to make the film available for audiences in both 2D and 3D."
